What do I know:-
He had the same name as my dad
"Fred lad" to his friends
He was a driver in the 1st World War
He was Gassed during the conflict
He had to eat 1/2lb of raw liver a day
Apparently the liver is a very clever organ
When he died he left 4 kids and my Gran had 4 pence h'penny in her purse
Then she shined the vicars shoes
He was my grandad
